RFM Development Company is a full-service real estate firm, that specializes in developing the highest quality multifamily, single tenant, and mixed-use developments throughout the Southeast. RFM is privately held and founded more than 30 years ago by Russell F. Morris III.
We are a fully integrated real estate group with capabilities across all phases of a project, including the entire development process, site selection, due diligence construction, investment, project planning/management, brokerage, and relationships to help navigate intricacies unique to each deal.

Development
The Development team has been involved in developing apartment complexes encompassing over 700 units and over 150 free standing single tenant developments, among numerous other commercial developments. Our ability to complete projects on time and under budget have led to the firm’s great success.
Construction
Our construction arm has vast experience constructing various real estate asset types, including residential towers in metropolitan areas, garden style walk-up apartments, mixed-use developments, single tenant retail, and others. Our lean project implementation strategies, detailed coordination and logistics planning, financial cost analysis, and professionalism have allowed our Construction group to continue to grow exponentially.
Investment / Asset Management
The RFM investment team scrutinizes quantitative data to understand real time market trends and utilizes asset-level insights to continuously enhance our investment decisions. Our detailed diligence and analysis during all phases of a deal allow us to cultivate lasting partnerships with our investors.
Brokerage
The Commercial real estate brokerage team has been involved with the purchase and sale of various multifamily projects and served numerous national credit tenants including Walmart, Walgreens, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Auto Zone, Firestone, and multiple Banks and QSR’s. Our brokerage platform is experienced working alongside other brokerage teams from various local and national groups.
